Our research is underpinned by four Research Themes

1. Synthesis Theme

 

In this theme, we use a variety of synthetic strategies in combination with advanced characterisation tools to elucidate the growth mechanism of nanocrystals.

2. Hybrid Theme

 

In this theme, we will develop wet-chemical approaches to composite hybrid nanoparticles and investigate the synergistic effects.

3. Catalysis Theme

 

In this theme, we will use nanocrystals we developed through Themes 1 and 2 as catalysts toward clean fuel production and storage.
